Pastor, Preacher, Teacher, Husband, Father all describe Rev. Calvin A. Davis.
Born in Georgia to the parentage of Bro. Harvey Davis, Jr. and Sis. Annie J. Davis, Rev. Davis moved to Florida at a young age. Under the tutelage of Rev. Willie J. Ford, Rev. Davis was ordained a Deacon and Minister at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Deerfield Beach, Florida. He has made youth counseling his personal mission throughout his secular and spiritual journey. Rev. Davis has served on the Broward County Court System “Challenge to Youth” Juvenile Counseling program; was president, Head Football Coach and Counselor of the Deerfield Beach Raiders Football for the City of Deerfield Beach; Youth Counselor at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church; Football Coach and Spiritual Counselor at Deerfield Beach High School; and established a Youth Bible Study after school at Crystal Lake Middle School.
He received his AA Degree from Broward Community College; BA Degree in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University; and BA Degree in Pastoral Care/Counseling from University of South Florida.
On December 27, 1993, Rev. Davis became the Pastor of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church of Boca Raton, Florida, where his mission statement became “Enter to Worship – Exit to Serve”. Under his guidance, the Men’s Fellowship, Youth & Children’s and Music Ministries were formed. Additionally, a partnership was entered into with Boca Helping Hands, of which Rev. Davis was a founding Director. For the past four years, Rev. Davis served as President, Ministers’ & Deacons’ Union, Northern Division of the Florida East Coast Missionary Baptist Association. In February of 2011, he was elected to serve as President of the Florida East Coast District Congress of Christian Education.
Rev. Davis is a Certified Instructor in the Florida General Baptist Congress of Christian Education and has completed Phases I and II of the Congress of Christian Education FECA – C.O.P.P. Program. He has lectured on various topics, including but not limited to:

Among his many honors are National Who’s Who ~ Broward Community College; and National Who’s Who With Honors ~ University of South Florida.
He is married to Sis. Marion Moore-Davis and is the proud father of five children, Calvin Jr., Jermie, Jemeria, Micah, and Myles.
