Angelia R. Shellman was elected President of the Woman's Convention Auxiliary to the Florida East Coast Baptist Association, Inc., on February 15, 2007.
The Foundation Is Laid
Sister Angelia R. Shellman is a 1982 graduate of Twin Lakes High School in West Palm Beach, Florida and a 1986 graduate of the University of Florida in Gainesville. Sister Shellman’s Christian walk began at Member of Pleasant Heights Missionary Baptist Church in Riviera Beach, Florida under the leadership of the late Reverend Bagley and Reverend Leroy Parrish.
Building On That Firm Foundation
She is the wife of Reverend Timothy T. Shellman, Pastor of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Goulds, Florida. They are the proud parents of one son, Timothy II and one daughter, Tilmilia.
At Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, Sister Shellman is a part of the Missionary Society, an assistant teacher for the Sunday School and an Advisor for the Young Women’s Ministry.
Sister Shellman currently serves as President of the Woman’s Convention, Auxiliary to the Florida East Cast Baptist Association, Inc., under the leadership of Reverend Dr. C. P. Preston, Jr., Moderator. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Association. She has served and held many positions in the Florida East Coast Baptist Association including secretary of the Scholarship Committee, and First Vice-President of the Woman's Convention just to name a few.
In addition to her duties for the District, Sister Shellman has recently been appointed President of the Young Pastor’s Wives Auxiliary of the Florida General Baptist Convention under the leadership of Mrs. Patricia T. Carter, Women’s Auxiliary President and Reverend Dr. James B. Sampson, Convention President, while also serving as corresponding Secretary of the Women's Department of the Florida General Baptist Convention, Inc. Woman's Department President.
Sister Angelia R. Shellman is a member and serves in the position of chaplain of the South Broward Coterie of Ministers Wives and Ministers Widows. She is also a member of the Florida State Association of Ministers Wives and Ministers Widows.
Sister Shellman has served in the Northern Union, in other areas of the Florida General Baptist Convention, Inc. as well as in the Young Peoples Department of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc.
God has indeed blessed her to go many places and meet many sisters and brothers in the continuous work of Kingdom Building!

Member of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church. Presently serves as a Co-Instructor for Senior Adult Women Sunday School Class, member of the Missionary Society, Director of Christian Education and Co-Chairman of the Hospitality Committee.
